Journey!
Highway run
Into the midnight sun
Wheels go round and round
You’re on my mind
Restless hearts Sleep alone tonight
Sendin’ all my love Along the wire
They say that the road Ain’t no place to start a family
Right down the line It’s been you and me
And lovin’ a music man
Ain’t always what it’s supposed to be
Oh girl you stand by me
I’m forever yours...faithfully
Circus life Under the big top world
We all need the clowns
To make us smile Through space and time
Always another show
Wondering where I am Lost without you
And being apart ain’t easy
On this love affair
Two strangers learn to fall in love again
I get the joy Of rediscovering you
Oh girl, you stand by me
I’m forever yours...faithfully
Oh, oh, oh, oh
Faithfully, I’m still yours
I’m forever yours
Driving home from work. Radio is my Nostalgia Harbinger. What a Journey!
And now David Gray. On radio. Remember rewinding the cassette umpteen times listening to a particular song 4 months ago. How soon yesterday has become history. Whoa!
Another visit to KL coming up. Another 'so what's up for New Year?' coming up. Another year of Hope. Faith. Life. Coming up. Hope Love too rises from the throes of deep slumber. Ahem!
Sometimes God knows exactly what I want. But only sometimes.
I wish...

How the f#$@...(ok stop hyperventilating and take a deep breath). Right mister, how did you get to my blog?
And no, I do not allow anon comments.
Thank you for the compliment.
I don't think you would find anything of interest in my blogs.
Have a nice X'mas and New Year.
(How did you come across my 'blog'? It's not a famous, or wild or talks of matters of the world, nor is it humourous nor whatever...yes! am paranoid!)

Paranoia is a good thing.

Maybe...ok one thing.Oh God! I don't know. Just don't be mean about my posts. Please. That's not something that I can handle. I'm not half as talented as you are with wisecracks, etc. so spare me. In fact don't leave comments at all. In fact thankfully I don't write anything that will elicit comments from you..in fact..am paranoid...God...!

Mean? Me? Perish the thought.
However, prepare to face my wrath if you do not capitalize your sentences, or if you commit the crime of using the number two in lieu of “to”.
Paranoia is still a good thing.
PS: I deleted my previous comment because of a wandering comma.

Why are we having a conversation over 'comments' on a blog that you would've normally given a go-by but for some strange reason (unknown to me and I'm still trying to elicit a reason)have actually read and left not one but 3 comments?
Well Rajneesh, hope you have a good year ahead and... well, nothing. Am sure you are rocking away somewhere heralding 2006 and waiting to write about the entire experience in your blog with the usual dash of humour that I love.
Well, nothing. Take care. There's much I can say, but it won't mean a thing to you and I'm just getting maudlin and...

a) Well, how I got here...Um, I wondered why I was getting so many visitors from http://idiosyncrazies.blogspot.com/, particularly since I did not recognize the URL.(Who do you know who lives in Uruguay?)
b) Unfortunately I heralded 2006 from my office, trying to beat a deadline.
c) And a Happy New Year to you too!
d) Who's our mutual acquaintance?

You have some sort of 'spy catcher' on your blogspot? Jesus! Nothing is sacrosanct is it? Well, what can I say? Thanks for visiting my blogs. Thanks for leaving comments. Thanks for letting me know. And you have a good year.

Hmmm...Why do I pick up strong hints of "Never darken my threshold again you fiend!"?
And not “spy catching” as much as morbid curiosity.

Maybe it's best you give me your email id so that this conversation can continue anon...:) at least leave a comment on another post for us to have this conversation, this one's getting too heavy..:)(and I can't handle so much attention).
And well, I don't know about hints, but am a nervous and insecure person(with a nervous tic to boot...LOL, just kidding) and considering you have such erudite, well informed friends who blog, and you seem to be a well informed person yourself, I don't think you'd like reading my blogs which are more often than not dark, depressing and not very happening.
You take care Rajjo. May the year ahead bring to you all that you crave, desire, hope and not hope for. Hope it's full of pleasant surprises.

I like this post. I'm nice and comfy here.
"Erudite, well informed friends"...um okay. Our mutual acquaintance is clearly not one of them. For some reason I think Bombay.
"you seem to be a well informed person yourself"
By well informed you clearly mean "Swears at the drop of a hat. Any hat. Dropping anywhere"

For some reason methinks not Mumbai at all, but Bangalore. And please please leave your comments on another post. Please. And hey cheers to middle age! Imagine at 26 you feeling that. What will you do when you get to my age? But I guess you know who you are...:)
How's America treating you and are you planning to come down here? If you do, let me know.I'd love to date you and listen to your swear words at the 'drop of a hat, anywhere'..:) Does that sound like a proposition? Shucks!
